The School Day

Our school gates open at 8:30am and children are dropped off at the two main doors anytime between then and 8:40am. Staff will be present on the playground to greet families and answer any queries. Registration takes place at 8:40am so all children must be in school by this time.  

Our 'Bready to Learn' Initiative allows every child to have a slice of toast as they come into school each day (8:30-8:40am).

Our lunch hour is from 12:00-1:00pm.

Children are dismissed from their specific exit door at 3:10pm. Parents are invited to wait by the exit door where teachers will match each pupil to their adult. 

We do not allow any person under the age of 18 to pick up at the end of the school day, this is for safeguarding reasons.  Please do not be offended if we ask for proof of age.

Total teaching time is 6 hours and 30 minutes per day.  This equates to 31 hours and 50 minutes per week.

In 2026-2027 the school has no employees who have a gross annual salary of £100,000 or more.
